Volunteering

I believe that helping my community and town is as important as my academics, arts, and sports. Through volunteer work and journalism, I can make an impact in my community and help others.

  • September 2024 - June 2025  Teaching Assistant at the Winchester School of Chinese Culture (WSCC), assisting the teacher in the 1st-grade Chinese class every Sunday. My responsibilities include 

    • Supervising students during class sessions and breaks to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment

    • Assisting with cleaning and organizing the classroom after each class

    • Assisting the teachers with distributing instructional materials and worksheets to the students​

    • Providing support to students by answering questions and reinforcing lesson content​
